Lazhar is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Prior to joining Chedid Re, Lazhar was the Executive Vice President Claims, Reinsurance and Engineering services of Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) since 2008. Previously, he worked in various executive positions in the insurance industry, namely as a Regional Director and Head of Casablanca Office of African

Reinsurance Corporation, Reinsurance Manager of CINA Assurances and Head of Marine and Aviation Department at Tunis Re.

Lazhar holds a master’s degree in Insurance from Institut de Financement du Développement du Maghreb, Tunis and a bachelor’s degree  in Economics and Management from Faculté de Sciences Économiques et de Gestion de Tunis.
