Global Head of Property

Deyaa is the Global Head of Property at Chedid Re, with over 18 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance field.
Deyaa began his journey with Chedid Re in 2011 as a Business Development Manager. His strategic planning skills, wide-ranging expertise, and strong broker relationships have since led to his appointment to several leadership roles and assignments at Chedid Re –  most recently as Senior Director Head of Technical KSA, a position he has been holding alongside his current role. Across these engagements, Deyaa has made significant contributions in shaping the company’s strategic direction and oversaw large-scale property portfolios at the service of sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Chedid Re, Deyaa had served in a number of senior roles at Al-Ahlia for Cooperative Insurance, including as Chief of Reinsurance.
Deyaa holds an Executive MBA from the ESA Business School; a Bachelor of Commerce with an emphasis on accounting from Zagazig University; and a Certificate in Insurance from the UK’s Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
