General Manager UAE

Raymond is the General Manager of Chedid Re’s Dubai office. He holds over 18 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, and sales, primarily in the insurance and reinsurance field. Raymond began his career at Chedid Re as a Facultative Manager, and has since undertaken several group-wide and high-level assignments, most recently as the company’s Facultative Director. In this capacity, he oversaw and directly managed Chedid Re’s facultative operations in Lebanon and the GCC region, and played an instrumental role in cross-departmental policy and strategy setting.

Prior to joining Chedid Re, Raymond had served in numerous managerial and business development roles across sectors and markets in the Middle East and the US, unlocking strategic partnerships and avenues for product development, cross-border expansion, and commercial growth.

Raymon holds a dual master’s degree in business administration and international business management – a collaboration between Lebanon-based Notre Dame University (NDU) and France-based Bordeaux Business School of Management; a bachelor’s degree in business administration from NDU; and a Certificate in Insurance from the UK’s Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
